Dr. Wei Zhao is currently an Assistant Professor in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, OK. He earned his PhD in Aerospace Engineering at Virginia Tech (Blacksburg, VA). Following the completion of his PhD training, Dr. Zhao gained valuable experience as a research associate/scientist at Virginia Tech. Dr. Zhao has a wide range of research interests in structures and materials, aeroelasticity, and multidisciplinary design optimization. His research work in airplane multidisciplinary design, analysis and optimization has been reviewed by Aerospace America annual review in 2017 and 2019
